Logistics Administrator needed in South Woodham Ferrers

- Location: South Woodham Ferrers, CM3 (own transport required)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Type: Temp to perm for the right candidate
Job Description: As a Logistics Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client’s growing business. This dynamic position requires a highly organised individual with solid knowledge of Sage 50.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient use of Sage 50 for logistics management.
- Responsible for booking delivery slots with stores, warehouses, and distribution centres while maintaining effective
- Communicate effectively with both internal sales teams and external customers.
- Maintain a professional and friendly telephone manner.
- Ensure excellent record-keeping and documentation.
- Demonstrate speed, accuracy, and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Manage couriers and compare transport costs effectively.
- Arrange DHL deliveries and manage pallet counts.
- Handle sale orders, invoicing, sorting post, and general filing.
- Update the works schedule daily and manage calendaring duties for drivers/installers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a logistics or dispatch environment.
- Strong skills in Word and Excel.
- Excellent written English, numeracy, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of import and export administration
