Join our dynamic team as an Audit and Accounts Junior with 12-18 months experience in practice. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals and contribute to the auditing and accounting processes of our diverse client base.
Day-to-day of the role:- Assist in the preparation of audit plans and audit testing.
- Support the audit process by verifying assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.
- Complete audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Assist with the reconciliation of accounts and rectification of discrepancies.
- Prepare for audits by understanding the organization’s objectives, structure, policies, processes, internal controls, and external regulations.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
