Advanced Clinical Practitioners (Clinical Assessment Service) - HOMEWORKING

Reed are currently recruiting Advance Clinical Practitioners to work across the Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) in a UK wide Urgent Care provider on a remote basis. 

As an Advance Clinical Practitioner working on the CAS you will be responsible for providing telephone and virtual clinical assessments to patients who have been assessed by 111 or other local services. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing an enhanced assessment, triage, referral and/or treatment of a wide range of patients (all ages).  You will provide appropriate care based on the patients need, in a timely and affective manor. 
  • Collaborate with colleagues across admission avoidance pathways
  • Independently prescribe medications
  • Offer advice to clinical teams within the local area. 

Requirements:

  • Professional registration with the NMC or HCPC. 
  • Substantial post registration clinical experience in a primary care setting
  • Experience of working in an autonomous advanced role.
  • Independent Non-Medical prescribing.
  • Advanced paediatric and/or Minor illness in children experience
  • Have completed or currently engaged on MSc level Advanced Clinical Practice education.
  • Previous experience of triage/telephone consultation
