Do you have strong air freight experience paired with excellent customer service skills?

I am recruiting for an Air Freight Operations candidate for client who is a market leader in air, sea and road freight as well as logistics, supply chain and technology solutions. This is a Monday to Friday role, working from 09:00 - 17:30, office-based. 

Main Duties: 

  • Plan flight schedules, manage allocations, and make shipment bookings to meet client needs. 
  • Build Unit Load Devices (ULDs) and manage airline equipment effectively.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all customs paperwork and shipping documents.
  • Maintain compliance with Aviation Security and company security protocols.
  • Maintain strong relationships with airlines and service providers.
  • Organise and arrange services with various suppliers, including airlines.
  • Monitor flight capacity and negotiate the best possible rates.
  • Manage carrier cut-offs and ensure distribution/warehouse activities align with export procedures
  • Utilise systems such as Web Cargo, CargoWise, ASM Sequoia, and MS Office Suite as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong air freight experience.
  • Experience handling customs compliance and paperwork.
  • Experience using MS Office as well as Web Cargo, CargoWise or ASM Sequoia (desired).
  • Excellent customer service skills with strong written, verbal and spoken English.
