Morgan Hunt currently requires a Building Maintenance Handyperson/Operative for NHS based in MiddlesexPay Rate: £15ph to 16ph LtdHours: 37.5 hrs 8am to 16:30pm Mon to Thurs and 8am to 16:00pm FriLocation: MiddlesexDuration 12 months on going contractSuitable candidates must have full clean driving licence vehicle will be providedRole details:Building Maintenance Handyperson /operative - with painting and decorating, flooring and general maintenance on building fabric.Main Duties: 1. Using candidates specific trade skills and knowledge, install, repair and maintain the Hospitals' building fabric, fixtures and fittings, finishes and decorations.2. To have the skills and experience to carry out cross trade works where necessary, such as; glazing, carpentry, joinery, painting and decorating, basic plumbing, waste blockages, and the installation of ligature prevention works.3. Adapting core building trade skills and with appropriate training as necessary undertake other building and civil engineering repairs and maintenance.4. Carry out first line investigations into all other general building elements.5. To escort contractors working within the secure perimeter of the Hospital, when necessary, to participate in the departments on-call system as and when required.6. After appropriate training, have a basic understanding of the Hospital's security locks and locking systems so as to be able to remove and replace these where necessary.Special conditions: Own tools & PPEAbility to interact at all levels.Flexibility and adaptability. Computer literateSatisfactory attendance to work 8-16:30 M to T and 8-16 F. Current driving license (manual). Work to deadlines and may be required at any London site
