WE MAY JUST HAVE THE JOB FOR YOU!...............* Location - Southall/West London* Salary- 33k* Monday to Friday- 40hrs/week (6am-2:30pm OR 2pm-10:30pm)* 1 hour break * Staff canteen, 15%-20% discounted products.* Lovely clean, friendly warehouse environment.* Easy access to site by bus (120, 105) and train.Requirements and skills* Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards* Able to work in cold environment* Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.* Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.* A genuine passion for cooking and creating delicious mealsResponsibilities * To prepare a workflow and ensure that work is carried out methodically and hygienically* Cleaning, preparation areas, storage areas and cooking areas* Operates all machines and equipment in a manner that is safe to self and product* Cooks batches as per recipe ensuring that no product is released to high risk unless authorised by the chef.* Carries out duties and details assigned as per documented procedures* Assists trained cooking operators by assembling recipe ingredients* Records all codes and use by dates where required on recipe sheets so that the traceability system is maintained correctly* Informs the shift Chef of any operational problems as and when they occur* Carries out any other reasonable work that is required to be done to ensure the smooth functioning of the kitchen department, any other department or indeed the company* Maintains all documentation as required by the documented systemTo apply for the role or for more information please call the Gi Group team on or email your CV
