- Support classroom teaching by working with students individually or in small groups.
- Assist in preparing classroom materials and resources.
- Provide tailored support for students with additional learning needs.
- Help with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Offer feedback to students to aid their development and track progress.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required by the teaching staff.
- Participate in school activities, events, and professional development opportunities.
- The successful candidate will:
- Have a degree (2:1 or higher) in a relevant subject (e.g., Education, English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, or similar).
- Show a genuine interest in pursuing a career in education, with a commitment to supporting students' learning and well-being.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Ideally have prior experience working with young people, though this is not essential.
- Be enthusiastic about learning and keen to contribute to a school that strives for excellence.
