Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support in the classroom and on a one-to-one basis, helping students stay focused and engaged in their learning.
- Modify learning activities and resources to meet the needs of students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as autism or ADHD.
- Work closely with the class teacher to adapt teaching strategies.
- Provide emotional support, helping to build students' confidence and self-esteem.
- Monitor and assess student progress, working in partnership with the school's SENCO to create and review tailored support plans.
What We're Looking For in a Graduate Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children in any capacity, such as tutoring, babysitting, or volunteering.
- A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to supporting children's needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed both academically and emotionally.
