Summary:
A great opportunity for an experienced M&E Project Manager (electrical) to oversee and manage electrical services for a 50MW data centre in West London.
You will oversee the day-to-day management of projects, and will have a track record ensuring projects are delivered to high quality standards, on time and within budget. The position will be predominantly site-based, with the occasional requirement to travel to our Head Office in Central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead team meetings and Delegate activities within the Project Team, while building strong working relationships.
- Keep clients and stakeholders informed at all times, building trusted relationships.
- Liaise with Design & Coordination to ensure the delivery of design/working drawings, anticipating and dealing with any additional cost, delay, or other impacts on production.
- Take ownership of the procurement process.
- Ensure compliance of all work with health and safety regulations, as well as company and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Electrically biased M&E Project Manager experienced on large scale data centres.
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution and High Voltage systems essential.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of financials, processes and procurement.
- Familiar and comfortable with technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communicator and decisive decision maker.
