Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to a child with Autism, promoting engagement and learning.
- Implement strategies to encourage social interaction, confidence, and communication.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to follow individualised support plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with Autism or other special educational needs.
- Understanding of Autism-specific strategies and behaviour management techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
- A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
