We are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join our clients team based in Southall. The ideal candidate will have previous transport experience and a strong understanding of transport compliance, driver management, and operational planning.

9am - 7pm
£33k Per Annum
Responsibilities
- Daily transport planning to ensure efficient deliveries and collections
- Reviewing and analyzing previous day’s figures, including mileage, vehicle registrations, and fuel usage
- Monitoring driver defects and ensuring all issues are logged and resolved
- Conducting vehicle audits to maintain compliance and operational efficiency
- Managing Tacho Tuesday - ensuring compliance with tachograph regulations, downloading tachograph data, and monitoring driver hours
- Identifying and addressing driver infringements to ensure legal compliance and best practices
- Liaising with drivers, ensuring they understand their routes and schedules
- Supporting the wider transport team with administrative tasks and reporting
Requirements
- Previous transport planning experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of tachograph laws and driver hours regulations
- Good analytical skills for reviewing figures, mileage, and compliance data
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
