- Troubleshooting – speaking with customers on the telephone and assisting them with faults or queries on a ‘first line’ basis.
- Visiting customer at their premises to repair, install or maintain the machinery. This could be a ‘1 day’ fix/install, or the job could take a few days, so may require you to stay away for a few days at a time.
- Provide training to customers on machine usage and maintenance and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement processes, suggesting enhancements to products or services.
- General assistance with regards to receiving stock into the warehouse, or postage of spares or consumables as required (Forklift Truck training will be provided).
- General assistance with the smooth running of the site.
- Previous experience in the maintenance, repair and installation of CNC equipment or similar technologies.
- Good problem-solving skills, with a professional telephone manner – experience of providing support to customers on the phone or via video call.
- Flexible – able to travel to customer sites across the UK, so you will need to have a driving license and your own transport.
- Current passport for overseas travel as required (very occasional).
