Labourer

Contract role - part time (16-24h/week)

Start date: 25/11/2024

Location - Southam, Warwickshire

We are seeking to recruit a dedicated and experienced labourer to join our team and work on fit out project

Labourer Benefits:

  • This role is physically demanding but offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and work closely with skilled trades
  • Competitive hourly rate of 15per hour Umbrella - equivalent to 11.85 per hour PAYE direct
  • 8 hours workdays
  • 6 week contract

Labourer the role:

  • Site preparation and maintenance - clearing debris, help setting up and maintaining temporary structure, assisting with ground preparation
  • Material handling - loading and unloading, transporting and organising materials
  • Support to tradespeople
  • Following all health and safety protocols and site regulations.

Labourer requirements:

  • CSCS card, PPE and right to work in the UK
  • The job requires the ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and perform strenuous tasks.
  • Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and procedures
  • Ability to work well with other team members and follow instructions from supervisors, site managers and tradespeople.
  • Ensuring tasks are completed accurately to maintain site safety and quality standards.
  • Understanding of safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
