Micheldever Tyre Services is looking for a Credit Control Administrator to you work within a busy Finance Office, providing debt management of allocated accounts. As a proactive member of the finance team you will be accountable for the maintenance and cash management of all customers assigned to you, ensuring all customer administration is carried out within agreed definitions and parameters

  • Hours: 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day Monday to Friday

About the role

  • Debt management of allocated accounts for locations from within MTS
  • Chasing of customer for payment and remittance advices
  • Allocation of payments onto computer system
  • Preparation of aged debt reports and stop lists as required
  • Monitoring of failed payments
  • Processing of payment collection notes
  • Ensuring all customer administration is carried out within agreed definitions and parameters
  • Ensuring excellent communications and relationships are maintained with other departments

About you:

  • Demonstrable experience of debt collection
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages
  • Ability to build positive working relationships
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A supervisory management, management or recognised leadership qualification, desirable but not essential
