Client Accountant Southampton based Hybrid
salary up to £55,000
An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant to join a well-established chartered accountancy firm based in Southampton. This is a varied and interesting role within a which can offer uncapped, true progression. This role will manage a portfolio of complex clients, completing year end and management accounts preparation, corporation tax, personal tax self-assessments, and VAT returns. In addition, you will have the opportunity to become involved in client management and business development. Benefits:

Duties:
- Manage a portfolio of complex, high net worth and varied clients.
- Responsible for year end and management accounts preparation and all associated tax.
- Conduct account review meeting with clients.
- Answer financial queries relating to year end accounts and tax planning.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Requirements:
- Ideally you will be full ACCA / ACA qualified but nearly qualified will be considered dependent on previous experience.
- Proven experience in a client management role within a chartered accountancy practice is essential.
- Experience manager a diverse portfolio of accounting clients - Preparing year end accounts
- Experience dealing directly with clients to answer financial queries and conducting review meetings.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proactive and solution-focused approach to client challenges.
