Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the management and delivery of assignments
  • Preparing client deliverables (including Audit Findings Report), building relationships with the client (including their teams) and acting as an ambassador for the business
  • Planning assignments, including budgeting and use of analytical review
  • Attendance at stock takes
  • Preparation of accounts (including those under FRS102 and IFRS)
  • Identifying, researching and helping to resolve technical issues which may arise
  • Initiate and work with other service lines across the business to the benefit of the client including referring opportunities where relevant and minimising risk (to both the business and the client)
  • Assisting and developing more junior members of the team
  • You will be expected to professionally represent the firm and its interests in dealings with clients and other professionals
  • You will be expected to attend training to further develop and maintain your technical skills and if not yet attained to work towards a professional qualification

About You:

  • 2 years' experience of working in audit, ideally in practice
  • Working towards ACCA, ACA or Level 4 AAT
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Exposure to owner managed businesses is also essential
  • Drive and resilience to deliver high levels of customer services
  • Full UK driving licence as you will be completing regular travel across the region and occasional travel further afield
