Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be supporting a growing services business, based in Southampton, in their search for a Financial Accountant on a 6 month fixed-term contract basis.

£30-40,000 p/a
Hybrid working

Key Responsibilities include:

Responsible for designated balance sheet GL reconciliations ensuring timely and accurate GL reconciliations in line with group policies
Identifying on and resolving outstanding legacy balances across debtors, creditors and bank
Preparing and posting journals to reflect the correct account balances and remedy historical differences
Proactively working with Financial Operations and Group Financial Control to resolve issues, aged GL items and variances
Work with business stakeholders and finance on systems and process improvement initiatives

Key Experience includes:

Part Qualified Accountant or Studying
3+ years' experience of working in finance
Strong analytical skills coupled with a good business understanding leading to key business insight
Team player and creative problem solver with a can-do attitude
