Your new companyWorking for a fast-track professional services business that has gone from strength to strength, are recruiting a Qualified Fund Accountant. This global business who are considered an employer of choice are renowned in their industry for investing in and developing their people. A great opportunity for a qualified Accountant with excellent leadership qualities to take the lead on a broad remit.Your new roleYou will work closely with the jurisdictions accounting teams in order to deliver a first-class professional service to clients, both internal and externally. You will assist withthe management of day-to-day accounting services.You will support on the client relationships for the allocated portfolio. You will be responsible for preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS or UK GAAP. You will carry out preparation of consolidated reporting and financial statements, both at asset and fund level, including supporting files and review of work produced by team. Your role will be responsible for team planning, monitoring deadlines and coaching and developing junior staff membersYour role will lead year end and audits ensuring all regulatory and statutory reporting deadlines and filings are achieved. You support with implementing and continually looking to improve on processes while maintaining compliance and documenting procedures.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with strong IFRS knowledge and technical accounting skills, ideally gained within real estate funds or an asset management environment. A comprehensive understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS and other relevant accounting standards, and related preparation of statutory financial statements and auditor liaison. You will have strong communication skills and business partnering experience to build and manage relationships.
