This high growth business has reached £80m in revenue and is mid-way through their acquisitional growth journey with a defined plan to exit in 2-3 years.We are seeking a proactive, growth-focused Financial Controller to lead the financial operations of the group in a pivotal role. As Group Financial Controller, you will oversee the accounting functions of the entities across the UK, responsible for the delivery of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reporting, ensuring high quality financial analysis in support of growth, margin improvement, cost control and optimal cash management.What will the Group Financial Controller role involve?

  • Reporting to CFO with oversight of all day to day accounting operations and financial reporting processes;
  • Implementation and monitoring of robust financial controls around month end close;
  • Integration of newly acquired subsidiaries into group finance processes;
  • Management and development of a local finance team including recruitment to support business growth;
  • Key stakeholder management including Group SLT and key PE contacts;
  • Develop internal control policies and procedures to strengthen and maintain a robust control environment.

Suitable Candidate for the Group Financial Controller vacancy:

  • Practice trained qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a strong foundation in financial reporting and financial control gained in industry;
  • Ability to partner with commercial and operational stakeholders in a fast paced, growing business environment;
  • Experience within Financial Services and/or a PE environment is desirable but not essential if transferrable skills can be demonstrated.
