A PE backed services business has exclusively approached CMA for support in recruiting an Interim Financial Controller for an initial period of 6 months. This position will report to the Finance Director and provide key financial leadership support to the business whilst it navigates a period of transition.What will the Interim Financial Controller role involve?

  • Oversee and coach a small finance team through the period of change;
  • Review large volumes of data in order to apply correct revenue recognition;
  • Review monthly reporting processes and suggest/implement improvements.;
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with regulatory requirements.

Suitable Candidate for the Interim Finance Director vacancy:

  • Candidates will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified and have worked within an SME business covering a well-rounded finance role.  Experience in a complex revenue recognition environment is highly desirable.
  • Prior team management experience is highly desirable as this role will mentor and support the finance team.
  • Strong communication skills to partner with a range of stakeholders across the business.
