We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join an innovative manufacturing company in Southampton that values growth, development, and collaboration. Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home), a performance-based company bonus, and study support to help you reach your career goals. This role offers the perfect opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to take ownership of management accounts, contribute to impactful projects, and make a tangible difference.   • Production of management accounts – P&L, balance sheet, cost of sales, margin analysis and CAPEX
  • Reporting on variances and providing commentary alongside accounts
  • Intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Inventory reporting, circa £4m
  • Month-end journal postings, accruals and prepayments
  • Accurate calculation and forecasting for depreciating assets
  • Supporting across a range of internal projects
What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner / Commercial Accountant / Finance Manager / Finance Analyst
  • Experience within a manufacturing business would be beneficial
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • A desire to develop and grow in the role and get involved with new projects and tasks
