Page Personnel are partnering with a successful business based in Southampton looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their accountancy team on a full time permanent basis.

Our client is a successful business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Southampton and do require travel to their offices but also offer a hybrid model of working.
Description
As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Process invoices and payments; reconcile supplier statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support month-end reporting and account reconciliation.
- Process staff expenses and ensure compliance with policies.
- Assist with audit preparation and provide administrative support.
Profile
To be successful for the Accounts Assistant position, you must:
- Experience in a similar finance or accounting role, preferably in a ledger management capacity.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
Job Offer
Salary £25,000 - £30,000
