- Processing over 300 invoices per month, ensuring accuracy
- Managing bank reconciliations and processing receipts and incoming payments
- Chasing outstanding debts, focusing on 30-60 day overdue invoices and escalating at 90 days
- Updating management accounts and handling month-end tasks, including prepayments and accruals
- Processing staff expenses and reconciling employee credit cards
- Potential to take on payroll in the future
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Accountant / Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant / Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant
- Experience in bookkeeping, month-end processes and bank reconciliations
- To be qualified AAT / ACCA / CIMA / ACA or QBE
- Proficiency in Sage 50 (or comparable software) and strong Excel skills
- To be someone who takes ownership of their work and likes to improve processes
