Job Description:
In this role, you will manage key accounts, drive sales growth, and build lasting client relationships while contributing to the success of the Trade Sales department.
- Create and implement strategic sales plans to drive passenger growth, revenue, and market share across Key Accounts, while adjusting tactics to respond to market trends and competitor activity
- Develop and execute sales and marketing campaigns with partners, ensuring a strong return on investment and increased brand visibility through distribution opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, commercial managers, and business owners, ensuring consistent engagement and collaboration
- Provide training and support to partners, enhancing their knowledge and confidence in all products, systems, and campaigns to improve performance
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including luxury partnerships, group travel, and high-potential accounts, while strengthening existing client relationships
- Use data-driven reporting tools to track sales performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies for optimal client retention and growth
- Monitor and achieve revenue targets by coaching Key Accounts, implementing incentive programs, and providing regular performance feedback
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and product development, to align sales strategies with business objectives and enhance customer experience
- Represent the company at consumer shows, trade events, and networking opportunities to promote the brand and generate new business leads
- Regularly update senior leadership on account performance and contribute to team projects, quarterly sales meetings, and bi-monthly trading meetings to align national activities
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in key account management, sales, or business development, role within the travel industry IS ESSENTIAL
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue and growth targets in a competitive environment
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain high-level relationships with senior stakeholders, commercial managers, and business owners
- Experience in creating and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans tailored to diverse accounts
- Experience analysing sales data and adjusting strategies to improve results
- Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and the ability to manage accurate reporting and data tracking
- Experience in training and supporting partners to enhance their product knowledge and drive sales growth
- Skilled in presenting at consumer shows, conferences, and events, representing the brand in a professional and engaging manner
- Confident presenting at events, conferences, and trade shows
- Familiarity with the luxury travel market and an understanding of its unique customer and business needs
