We are currently looking for a Senior Composite Design Engineer for a fantastic local engineering company based in Southampton
Job Description
The role will involve being a key leader in the development and design processes using specialist manufacturing technology and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and design
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
- Developing and leading the day to day with your direct reports
Ideal Skills and Experience
- 5-10 years experience in a relatable engineering role
- Materials / carbon fibre experience
- Design background, ideally Solidworks experience
- FEA systems experience, ideally Hyperworks
- Team leading experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem solving and solution providing skills
Salary / Hours / Benefits
£45K - £55K
40 hours per week flexible on start and finish times
