  • Job Title/Location: Mortgage Administrator, Hedge End & WFH
  • Salary: To £26,000 pro-rata + bonus c.£1,000 - £1,500
  • Office/WFH: 3 months initial office-based training, then an opportunity to WFH 1 day per week. There will be some weeks due to business volumes or staff holidays/illness that are office-based. Role is for part-time, ideally around 30 hours per week, equivalent of 4 full-days.
  • Requirements: Solid recent administration experience in any sector, but ideally with some experience in Financial Services, Banking or Insurance. You should also be a car driver
  • Role Snapshot: Submitting mortgage applications & case managing to completion, supporting two Brokers.

The Company/Dept: You will be working for a long-established Mortgage Broker who has a solid, respected reputation in the market and will also be working alongside another Broker and a fellow support colleague.

The Role: The opening is for a Mortgage Administrator to support two Brokers with all of the administration/support that comes from the business they write. There will also be some compliance responsibility, so therefore it is important this person has the ability to take on lots of product and regulatory information over the first few months. The initial main duties include:

  • Provide administration support for the mortgage application process and related protection products, from data input on the back-office system to completion.
  • Ensuring that all client information is stored on the relevant system and it is updated accurately and timely checking that all compliance requirements are met.
  • Providing an effective link between the client and the Broker, ensuring both are kept up to date with all matters relating to the mortgage and related products.
  • Chase up lenders, clients and conveyancers as necessary and ensure updates are documented on the relevant system.

Skills / Experience Required: For this Mortgage Administrator role, our client requires solid administration experience. They do provide training, as you would expect, over the first 3 months. You must also be positive, professional, a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and comfortable with MS Office.

Additional Information: The salary for this Mortgage Administrator role is £22,000 - £26,000 pro-rata with bonus likely to add c.£1,000 - £1,500. This is a part-time role, ideally around 30 hours per week, so working 4 full days. There is free parking available.
