Finance Administrator/Accounts Payable Clerk
£14-15ph PAYE
Temp - 3 months - Southampton
An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Administrator/Accounts Payable Clerk to join a nationwide, well established, growing construction business - this role will be based in Southampton. The successful individual will support the finance team with transactional finance mainly within accounts payable.
Key responsibilities of the Finance Administrator/Accounts Payable Clerk job will include:
- Processing invoices within tight deadlines
- Resolving queries and requests
- Receiving and recording the receipt of invoices
- Processing invoices to make sure payments are correct and on time
- Processing payment runs
- Matching and filing invoices and receipts
- Reconciling business accounts to make sure amounts paid reflect goods and services received
- Answering queries from suppliers, contractors and other business departments about accounts payable or payments made
- Full end to end purchase ledger responsibility
The ideal Finance Administrator/Accounts Payable Clerk will possess the following attributes/skills:
- 2+ years previous Accounts Payable experience
- Microsoft Excel and SAP experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Fast learner
