Bookkeeper Opportunity 

Are you a detail-oriented and highly organised bookkeeper with a passion for numbers? We’re looking for an experienced professional to join our team and take charge of financial operations reporting to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare and deliver management accounts, including monthly reports.
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Take ownership of year-end accounts preparation, collaborating with external accountants to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Monitor cash flow, and financial forecasts to support business decision-making.
  • Manage VAT returns and other regulatory submissions.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A bookkeeping or accounting qualification (e.g., AAT or equivalent) is highly desirable.
