CMA are currently working with outstanding an organisation who are leading the way within their industry sector and now have multiple sites nationwide.  They are currently seeking a Sales Ledger Specialist to support the existing team with the transactional processes across their sites.  Based at their Head Office in Southampton, you will be joining a supportive team working alongside colleagues within the sales ledger function.  The role will be hybrid with a combination of home and office based working.  Onsite parking will be available.


What will the Sales Ledger Specialist role involve?

  • Ownership of the sales ledger function
  • Input, control and reconciliation of the Accounts Receivables
  • Administration and reconciliation of incoming credit card payment receipts
  • Ownership of direct debit receipts process and associated postings
  • Dealing with customer queries and providing general support to the management accountant and wider finance-team, helping to answer queries received in the shared finance inbox
  • Providing holiday cover and backup support to the finance team, specifically in the posting of invoices, and bank reconciliations

 Suitable Candidate for the Sales Ledger Specialist vacancy:

  • Relevant experience within a sales ledger role to include reconciliations
  • Excellent organisational skills with a strong capacity to manage priorities
  • Attention to detail and experience of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working with databases and accounting software
  • Good Excel skills
