Park HR is delighted to partner with a well established organisation in Totton to recruit a dedicated and proactive Facilities Assistant / Caretaker. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual to join a supportive team, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the site. *A full and clean UK Driving License is required*

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs.

  • Ensure the site is clean, safe, and well-presented at all times.

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and report any issues.

  • Assist with setting up rooms for events or meetings.

  • Monitor and maintain heating, lighting, and security systems.

  • Support health and safety compliance, including fire safety checks.

  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers as needed.

About You:
  • Previous experience in a caretaker, facilities, or maintenance role is desirable.

  • Practical skills in basic repairs and maintenance tasks.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Good communication skills and a team player mentality.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • A full UK driving license is essential.

  • An enhanced DBS check will be required for succesful applicants.
  • Basic IT skills for record-keeping.
