Contract: Permanent, Part Time

Salary: £24,771 per annum (£41,283 per annum pro rata)

Hours: 21 hours per week (35 hours per week pro rata)

Branch Administrator Organiser - The Role:

The Bargaining, Organising, Representation and Operations department, is seeking a Branch Administrator/Organiser to join the team at its Southampton Branch on a permanent, part time basis. You would be reporting to the Regional Official, Southern Region.

 

Branch Administrator Organiser – Key Responsibilities:

- Supporting the development and implementation of recruitment and organising strategies

- Undertaking recruitment and organising activities

- Keeping the Branch membership list and website up to date

- Taking minutes

- Administration of casework for members

- Organising events and meetings for members

 

Branch Administrator Organiser – You:

- You must be educated to GCSE level or equivalent experience (including Maths and English)

- The role would suit someone with experience of a similar working environment and/or understanding of working for a trade union or other not-for-profit organisation

- With sound organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, you will be the first point of contact for members and be expected to support the branch officers in all aspects of your work
