Branch Manager Wanted - Hedge End, Southampton

Hunts Recruitment is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to join a team in the Hedge End area of Southampton.


Location: Hedge End, Southampton

Hours: 7.30am-5pm Monday to Friday

Weekend working: Every other Saturday from 8am-12pm (Paid as overtime)

Salary: £36,000 per annum plus annual bonus scheme

Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays

Job Type: Full time, permanent


Job Purpose:

To effectively and efficiently manage the branches profitability through sales and margin whilst

maintaining a high level of customer service from yourself and your team


Who we are looking for:

  • Applicants must hold a Full UK drivers license

  • You will require Supervisory or Management experience

  • You will have a keen interest in developing your staffing team

  • Confidence in team management including any conflict resolutions required

  • Applicants with clear decision making skills


Responsibilities

  • Managing Sales

  • Planning and organising

  • Achieving sales and gross profit targets.

  • Maintaining excellent customer service, whilst developing existing & new customer base

  • Awareness of competitors and their strategies - information will be provided

  • Attend customer events arranged by the company and act as an ambassador of the brand, promoting the service, creating and maintaining relationships with customers - existing and new.

  • Managing Operations

  • Managing costs

  • Managing staff, to include:

- Effectively communicate and ensure all staff adhere to company policies and procedures
- Identify training and development of staff
- Identify and address performance issues
