Assistant Facilities Manager Southampton£35,000 - £38,000

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to join a leading facilities management company who boast an impressive portfolio of corporate clients. You will be responsible for supporting with the smooth daily operation of three client sites in Southampton, including managing both hard and soft services. You will work closely with the Facilities Manager and travel between the two additional sites as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of the daily operations across multiple client sites.
  • Managing contractors and coordinating PPM's and Reactive works
  • Conducting audits to ensure compliance and KPIs are met.
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance is up to date and updating the various systems.
  • Raising purchase orders via the internal system in place.
  • Regular site inspections, reporting, and actioning any required recommendations.
  • Providing a high-level of customer service to your client.
  • Ensuring there is a robust emergency response plan in place (i.e. fire safety)

We are keen to speak with candidates who have previously worked as a Facilities Coordinator or Assistant Facilities Manager, managing a corporate client's office space. You will have proven experience in managing contractors, overseeing health & safety and providing exceptional levels of customer service. If your experience is backed up with an IOSH Certificate, this may put you at an advantage. Furthermore, as this role is heavily focused around customer service, you will be a strong communicator, be passionate about your job, and have an engaging personality.
