We have an exciting position available for experienced van delivery drivers to join a dynamic and sustainable company based in Southampton. This company is rapidly growing and specialises in delivering a wide range of office supplies across the South Coast.
Position Overview: This is a 12-week temp-to-perm role, offering the chance to secure a full-time permanent position upon successful completion. You'll be part of a supportive team, working with a company that prioritises sustainability and quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- 12-week temp-to-perm position with long-term career prospects
- Monday to Friday work schedule
- Start time is 7am, till deliveries are completed
- Complete 30-45 drops per day, delivering office supplies
- Drive a long wheel-based van (Sack truck provided)
- Ensure safe and efficient deliveries of office stationery to businesses across the South Coast
What We Are Looking For:
- Full UK driving license is essential
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred
- Physically fit and able to manage manual handling and lifting tasks
- Excellent timekeeping to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong customer service and communication skills to provide exceptional service to our clients
- Familiarity with manual handling techniques and safety procedures
- Own transport to commute to and from work.
