As the holiday season approaches, Driver Hire Southampton is on the lookout for drivers of all experience levels to help spread some Christmas cheer! We are recruiting van drivers on an ad-hoc basis to assist with deliveries for our clients in Southampton and the surrounding areas. Whether it's delivering gifts from builders' merchants, electrical supplies, or vehicle deliveries, we want to hear from you!
About Our Van Driving Roles This Christmas �?
- AD HOC work (0 hours contract)
- Monday to Friday, plus some weekends during the festive rush
- Multidrop delivery work
- Deliveries may vary based on our clients' seasonal needs
- Start times between 6:00am and 8:00am
- Local deliveries as well as longer holiday runs
What We Require from You as a Van Driver:
- Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months
- Fantastic timekeeping-let's keep the festive spirit on schedule!
- Strong understanding of manual handling and heavy lifting, as some roles may require this
- Own transport to commute to and from work
- Ability to thrive under pressure-especially during the busy holiday season
- Strapping experience is a bonus!
- Previous experience in a multidrop role is beneficial
- Flexibility to adapt to the festive demands
