Driver Hire Southampton are now recruiting for a 7.5 tonne driver to fill a 12-week temp to perm position. For this position you will be delivering and collecting trays of surgical tools to hospitals in the South Coast area. You will be required to operate a tail lift. Our client is willing to take applicants that are newly qualified and provide training for the successful candidate.
About this 7.5T role:
- Work between Monday to Friday
- 12-week temp to perm
- 2pm- 10pm working hours
- Driving a 7.5T vehicle
- Up to 6 drops
- Long distance driving
- Operating a tail lift
- Delivering/ collecting sterile or disinfected surgical tools
- Ensure documentation/ records are up to date
What we require from you:
- Full UK 7.5t driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards
- Happy with manual handling
- No more than 3 driving points
- Ensure all tachograph records are maintained correctly
- Previous experience in operating a tail lift preferred
- Happy to complete evening shifts
