Driver Hire Southampton is seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 2 Driver for a 12-week temp-to-perm position with one of our esteemed clients specialising in steel deliveries.
What you need to know about this Class 2 Driving role:
- 12-week temp to perm position
- Driving Class 2 vehicle as well as 7.5T and Van when required
- 7:00am- 4:00pm with overtime available
- Monday to Friday
- 5- 12 drops a day on average
- Complete deliveries of steel over the South Coast area
- When required you may have to work in the warehouse (picking & packing, loading & unloading, stock checking etc), however you will be driving 90% of the time
- Steel will typically be forklifted off once at destination
Requirements from you from as a Class 2 Driver:
- Full UK Class 2 licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- A minimum of 1 year experience driving Class 2 vehicles
- Strapping experience
- Physically fit and happy to heavy lift where necessary
- Flexible to work where required
- Own transport to commute to and from work
- Fantastic customer service skills
- Follow company health and safety procedures
