Driver Hire Southampton are currently recruiting for Class 2 drivers for one of our clients based in Hampshire. You will be required to deliver steel and metal products on a Class 2 flatbed vehicle. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity of securing a full-time permanent position
About this role:
- 12-week temp to perm
- Start time between 6:00am and 7:00am
- Monday to Friday
- Delivering steel and metal products around the Hampshire area
- 8-10 hour working days
- Strapping and chaining involved
- 8-12 deliveries
- No handballing
- Driving a Class 2 flatbed vehicle
Requirements from our Class 2 drivers:
- A full and valid Class 2 licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- At least 6 months experience driving a Class 2 vehicle
- Strapping and chaining experience preferred
- Ensure all tachograph records are maintained correctly
- Previous experience in similar role is beneficial
- Great time keeping
- Good customer service skills
- Own transport to commute to and from work is essential.
