Driver Hire Southampton is seeking Class 2 Skip Drivers for a leading recycling client with a temp-to-perm opportunity.
Candidates must have a full UK Class 2 licence, valid CPC, Digital Tacho card, and at least 12 months of driving experience.
The role involves delivering, collecting, and exchanging skips in the Southampton area, with shifts starting at 6:30 am and lasting 10-12 hours, Monday to Friday.
Salary ranges from £14.00 to £18.49 per hour, with additional benefits such as weekly pay, onsite parking, and training provided.
This position offers the chance to secure permanent employment after a 12-week contract, along with 24/7 support from the in-house team.

What You Need to Know:

Temp to Perm: 12-week contract leading to permanent employment
Shift Times: 6:30am start, with 10-12 hour days
Working Days: Monday to Friday (no weekends!)
Role: Deliver, collect, and exchange skips in the Southampton area
Training: Full training provided by our client

What We're Looking For:

Full UK Class 2 licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
At least 12 months driving experience with a Class 2 vehicle
Own transport for commuting to and from work
Strong work ethic and punctuality
Previous experience in a skip driving role
Excellent time keeping and customer service
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
