The position offers flexible hours with full-time and part-time options, including days, afternoons, or nights.
Pay rates are £13.71 per hour for day shifts and £15.80 per hour for night shifts (PAYE).
Candidates must have a full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement, a valid DCPC, and a Digital Tachograph card, along with excellent communication skills.
This ongoing role has the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate, with a requirement of no more than 6 points on the driving licence and a safety-first mindset.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Southampton area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Days/afters or nights, full time and part time options available.

Pay Rate: Days - £13.71 per hour / Nights - £15.80 per hour (PAYE)

Location: Southampton, SO16

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

· Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

· Handling runs with 4-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.

· Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle.

· Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

· 40 hour workweeks for full time positions but flexible contracts are an option.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

· Excellent communication skills.

· A safety-first mindset.
