24-7 Recruitment Services are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers for a client based in Southampton. This will be an ongoing opportunity.
Tramping - SOUTHAMPTON SO50
No Assessments required
Minimum 6 months experience, ideally in a tramping role
Temp - Perm
Various start times - 10 hour runs
SALARY:
Hourly Rate from £16.25 per hour to £26.25 per hour
Night out allowance of £25.00, based in set truck stops
Fuel cards issued
Paid Breaks
Shift Patterns are as follows:
Days available
Start times starting from 5am - 8am
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability
About the role:
- Tramping
- Delivering to sites such as Estee Lauder, Boots, Hamleys and many more
- A good attitude is key
- You will be working on relatively new vehicles from 2021
- You will be assigned your own vehicle
- You will be expected to complete 10 hour runs
- Onsite Induction to be completed
- No Assessments required, however you will be buddied up for 4 weeks
- PPE Provided
* YOU MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:*
- A Full UK CPC Licence, Digi-Card & DQC Card
- 6 months experience
- No more than 6 Penalty Points on the license
- A good understanding of EU Drivers Hours & the WTD
- A good understanding of English, both written & verbal
