Sous Chef - Retail/Catering Outlet - £28,548 - Southampton - Work/Life Balance

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join a retail / leisure complex based near Hedge End, Southampton, they serve fresh food, and they are looking for someone with a passion for hospitality to help with preparing, cooking and presenting food to a high standard

Key Information:
Salary: From £28,548
Hours: 38hr contract. 2-week rolling rota/schedule, flexible working required - hours typically 7.5hr (weekday)/8hr shift(weekend)
Location: Southampton
Contract: Permanent

Sous Chef d Responsibilities:
To ensure the food preparation and presentation meets the required standards.
To keep all working areas clean and tidy
To supervise and motivate the team when required.
To comply with the health and safety and food safety legislations
To monitor portion control, fresh food, and dry store orders

Required skills include:
A good understanding of produce and ingredients
Experience in the kitchen and passion for hospitality
Basic knowledge of food production methods
Embrace new ideas and processes.
Positive and approachable manner
