We are looking for an experienced sous chef to join the kitchen in a very busy high volume day time only restaurant serving an all fresh company core menu.

Alongside the head chef you will be responsible for training and developing the team, managing every aspect of the kitchen and working closely with the general restaurant manager.

A massive bonus is that this is a day time only restaurant, so you won't work any evenings ever!!

As the Sous Chef, you will lead the team in all areas of food production. A true foodie, you will bring your personality to the kitchen inspiring and motivating your team's passion to produce freshly cooked, fabulous food.

Role - Sous Chef

As Sous Chef you will:

  • Lead the daily operation of the kitchen, you will be hands on.
  • Help to manage the GP and all costs and budgets.
  • Recruit, train, develop and lead your team.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage stock orders
  • Carry out weekly stock counts to ensure GP targets are achieved.
  • Manage the cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards.
  • Work closely with the General Restaurant Manager to achieve the highest standards, service and sales.

  • Successful and experienced Sous Chef with a background managing high volume fast paced kitchens.
  • Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.
  • Strong communicator who can motivate and develop their team to deliver with enthusiasm and great personality.
  • Knowledgeable in Food Hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.
  • Commercially aware to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Passion for delivering the highest quality food and service.
