Job Purpose:

The primary goal of this role is to maximize and convert sales opportunities within the branch by overseeing planning, reporting, forecasting, pipeline management, and sales process optimization. This includes identifying and pursuing key opportunities from the network and the UK business, creating new sales leads, and cultivating relationships with prospective clients in line with company guidelines. All sales and network activities should be recorded accurately in the internal systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development: Actively seek and secure new business opportunities for the branch.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with directors and the company's sales network to drive strategic initiatives and ensure that sales targets are met.
  • Market Awareness: Maintain a deep understanding of key industry processes, identify emerging opportunities, and expand the client/customer network.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with internal support teams to design and implement effective sales strategies aimed at growing the customer base.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and manage ongoing business relationships and new opportunities within the branch.
  • Profitability & Efficiency: Regularly assess and improve profitability and operational efficiency for existing clients.
  • Commercial Support: Assist with pricing strategies and contribute to the preparation of tenders when required.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Create and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring all relevant data is input into the online systems for tracking and audit purposes.
  • Team Support: Contribute to the productivity and development of pre-sales and inside sales teams (PSTS).
  • Reporting & Accuracy: Complete all required reporting and documentation accurately and on time, ensuring the current status of accounts is well-represented.
  • CRM Maintenance: Ensure all customer and sales activities are accurately recorded and updated in the company CRM system.
  • Sales Meetings & Events: Participate in company sales events, meetings, and any other sales-related activities as needed.
Qualifications and Key Skills
  • Strong in Performance Management, Project Management, Coaching, Supervision, and Quality Management.
  • Results-driven with experience in developing and managing budgets, setting standards, and fostering teamwork.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, providing constructive feedback and managing a team to meet goals.
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Securing new business and further developing existing accounts.
  • Accurate and timely reporting of business activities.
  • Leveraging the network to identify and maximize new business opportunities.
  • Contributing to the overall success and growth of the branch.
