Your new companyYou will be working for a large housing company operating across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Somerset and Devon + Cornwall.
Your new role
You will hold the business portfolio for all sewerage treatment, pumping stations and septic tanks across the operational regions.
You will be responsible for delivering all cyclical programmes, maintenance works, reactive repairs in the most efficient way, considering a flexible approach to the resources they have available.
You will be an active member of the Foul Water management team, contributing to the development of contract management.
You will be responsible for managing all job raising & service chargeable budgets relevant to Foul Water Treatment plants, ensuring they are functional and compliant with the Environmental agencies discharge licence agreements and managed within budget.
You will look to ensure the quality of the sewerage treatment services provided to all customers is of the highest quality, meeting best value, performance standards and best compliance practice.
What you'll need to succeed
- An ideal candidate will have a relevant professional qualification or experience in waste water plants/management.
- You will also have contract management experience in a commercial business environment.
- You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering performance to deadlines, providing quality outcomes and managing stakeholders effectively.
- You will be able to build strong working relationships with all stakeholders to ensure everyone is working in the same direction to seek the best outcomes.
- You will have a good understanding of basic Health and Safety legislation, Waste Disposal legislation and Environmental legislation and policies.
- You will be able to undertake COSHH assessments, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- You will be able to base yourself from home if you wish. There will be a requirement to attend meetings from time to time, so having a full UK passport and access to a vehicle for work purposes would be required.
