Position: Sites Services Engineer

Location:Southampton


ABOUT THE ROLE-

  • Working on, repairing and maintaining a wide range of electrical and mechanical industrial rotating equipment including but not limited to motors, pumps and gearboxes on customers sites.
  • Attending small and large customer sites to carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Workshop duties also include Repairs to all types of industrial equipment including AC and DC motors, Motorised Gearboxes, Gearboxs, Pumps, Fan units and other associated rotating equipment

Working Hours:

Mon - Thurs: 8am - 4.30pm

Friday: 8am - 3.30pm

Weekly hours: 39

Breaks: 45 min


ABOUT YOU-

  • You will have the ability to fault find and identify and rectify defects and worn / damaged components
  • Have as a minimum basic electrical testing capability to assess electrical condition of AC & DC components
  • Have sound mechanical engineering knowledge to identify and rectify faulty and worn / damaged components and understand reclamation techniques and reverse engineering options
