Ambitious plans are afoot with an estates masterplan that will see £1bn of investment in enhancing and delivering a sustainable, inclusive estate over the next decade.Reporting to the Site Safety Operations Manager, the Fire Integrity Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of a programme of physical fire integrity of the campus buildings, including fire compartmentation integrity, fire door inspection, sprinklers, maintenance, repair and replacement in university buildings and facilities. You will be responsible for the recording, liaison with teams and updating of all fire compartmentation with the central Health & Safety team, specifically fire officer duties. You will coordinate and update estates policies and procedures as they relate to fire door statutory compliance, updating building asset databases as required.The successful candidate will be a qualified Fire Safety professional with a skill level equivalent to achievement of HND, Degree, NVQ Level 4 or basic qualification and relevant experience with a detailed understanding of legislation, guidelines and best practice relating to fire door management.
