Described as an IT company doing logistics for ecommerce, our client is embarking on an ambitious new project to develop their own channel integrations platform.
You will be working closely with the development team to take responsibility for their cloud infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems.
- Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
- Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions considering security policies and best practices in cloud security
- Identify, analyse, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
- Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements
We're looking for a passionate and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer or DevOps Engineer who's as excited about technology and infrastructure as code.
You'll need to have:
- IaaC - especially Terraform
- MongoDB and MongoDB Atlas
- Troubleshooting and Analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working in a distributed/remote team
- Experience with observability platforms such as DataDog
Nice-to-Have.
- Google Cloud Platform, especially VPC Networking, GKE and Cloud Run
- Incident management solutions
- Some knowledge of GitOps practices
With new offices in the Southampton area this is a hybrid role, requiring you in the office 2- 3 times a week.
Salary is dependent on experience, and we're looking to arrange interviews immediately.
