Your Role:

As an Internal Sales Estimator, you will be the primary point of contact for incoming quotation requests from the Sales Team and directly from customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing customer phone calls effectively, ensuring excellent service standards.
  • Providing accurate and timely quotations, advising on product shortages and expected delivery dates.
  • Collaborating with the Commercial Team on special order items and customer terms.
  • Communicating directly with both current and prospective customers to assess and meet their needs.
  • Working closely with the External Sales Team to instil confidence in our ability to deliver on promises and maximise quotation conversion rates.
  • Liaising with suppliers for take-off and contract pricing as needed.
  • Following up on leads from the Customer Services Team.
  • Managing email correspondence efficiently.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly in MS Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Understanding of the sales administration process.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving ability with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Desirable: In-depth knowledge of building products to effectively communicate with contractors and assist internal/external teams.
  • Approachable with an excellent telephone manner.
