We are currently recruiting Team Leaders/Supervisors to work for a company that provides equipment and services to various construction based projects.

The role will be to lead a two-man team (Candidate +1) which will report directly to the Contracts Manager.

The Team Leader will be responsible for all site works on specific contracts that they attend and will be required to liaise with clients and take responsibility for all aspects of the role to include site safety & discipline, equipment, communication and compliance. Suitable candidates will be responsible for regularly updating the teams and ensuring that compliance and procedures are followed correctly.

The role will include the following:

  • Arrival at site, assess and measure timeframe for the job and report to RAMS prior to works commencing.
  • Ensure that the teams have appropriate PPE (RAMS compliant) and fully comply with Health & site safety.
  • Make sure the site operations start on schedule, maximising work time and that routine reports on progress are provided.
  • Take control and sign for all equipment utilised by the workshop teams against the SECL and account for its return.
  • Ensure that travel, company vehicle and alll relevant company procedures are followed.   

Candidate requirements:

  • Previous Team leader or supervisory experience within a construction environment.
  • Physically fit and able with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Available and prepared to work from home and all over the UK on a regular basis.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving license.
  • Hold a valid CSCS or SMSTS card.
  • Happy to work in a hands-on, diverse environment.
  • Undertake regular Drug & Alcohol testing.
  • Experience using basic site tools.

This role is temporary-permanent over 12 weeks and is a 42.5hrs per week+, with overtime, bonus and accomodation provided for nights away, along with a company vehicle to be used to travel to site with equipment.
